Royal opening of Battles and Dynasties exhibition

His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester K.G.  G.C.V.O. has officially opened the fascinating Battles and Dynasties exhibition at The Collection, Lincoln.

Lord Cormack, the Chairman of the Historic Lincoln Trust and the Trustees were delighted to welcome HRH The Duke of Gloucester to both Lincoln Castle – where he viewed the iconic Domesday Book displayed as part of the exhibition, and to The Collection, where the main exhibition is on display. In the Usher Gallery he also viewed the Lincoln Panorama, a recent commission by the Historic Lincoln Trust, made possible through generous sponsorship from The David Ross Foundation, and met the artist, Toby Ward who has previously been artist – in – residence at Lincoln Cathedral.

Battles and Dynasties exhibition continues until 3rd September 2017
