And so the countdown proceeds to 2015, and with frightening rapidity. A quarter of the year has gone and we are already planning a major pre-2015 event at the County Showground on Tuesday 23^rd September when we hope to be able to reveal, in very considerable detail, the plans for 2015.

What I can tell you is that more and more exciting things are being promised for our Great Exhibition. The British Library and a number of our great museums, and several private collections are agreeing to lend enticing things.

Special music is being arranged for the Three Choirs Festival, and there will be a spectacular event in the Castle grounds in late summer. It really is a case of watch this space.
