Historic Lincoln Trust out and about
Summer was certainly sizzling on the first day of the 130th Lincolnshire Show today! The Historic Lincoln Trust was delighted to be guests of JHWalter on their stand near the main arena – a great vantage point.
Visitors to the show were keen to hear about the progress of the new Magna Carta Vault, which for many had been highlighted in recent media coverage, and more about the plans for the 800th celebrations in 2015.
When a group of local primary schoolchildren were asked if anyone had heard of Magna Carta a forest of hands shot up, and they immediately quizzed their teacher about planning a visit to Lincoln Castle next year!
