Ballot Opens for Tickets to Lincoln Castle’s Official Opening

Monday 8th June will see the Official Opening of Lincoln Castle Revealed and the David PJ Ross Magna Carta Vault. This will be an exciting event at the castle, with some special ‘surprise’ guests, and celebrations during the day.

Although Lincoln Castle will not be open to general visitors on that day, due to security and capacity considerations, there is an opportunity to apply for tickets to celebrate this very memorable occasion.

If you would like to apply online please click here. You can also apply by post to Lincolnshire County Council, Tourism Team, 13 The Avenue, Lincoln, LN1 1PA. There is a maximum of two tickets per applicant and the ballot will close on the 30th April.

Applicants will be contacted during May to let them know whether they have been successful in the ballot and a postal address will be required from all applicants as this is where, if successful, the tickets and access information will be sent.
