Textile conservation plans get green light!

Over the next few years the tapestries from Doddington Hall are to be restored in the Heritage Skills Centre at Lincoln Castle. The tapestry frames will be set up in the public area of the building so that visitors can watch the conservators at work.

Skilled tapestry experts are currently being recruited, and the delicate work is planned to start early this year.

This pilot partnership project is an exciting venture for both Doddington Hall and the Heritage Skills Centre.
