Lincolnshire Sausage Festival

Come along to Lincoln Castle and Castle Hill for a great day out at the 11th Lincolnshire Sausage Festival. Enjoy an abundance of quality Lincolnshire food, along with street music, family entertainment and tantalising cookery demonstrations!

Enjoy the entertainment from the Europa Clowns, Matto and Polo, and a variety of musicians throughout the day. There will also be fun from the Cosmic Sausages who will be back with their eclectic mix of live entertainment, combining folk music, slapstick, circus and theatre.  Mr. Sausage will also be making appearances throughout the day in and around the castle grounds.

During the festival there will be sausage making demonstrations and lots of stalls selling all types of produce – and of course there will be tempting Lincolnshire Sausages on offer for people to buy and eat on the day or to take away and enjoy at home. Lincolnshire chef Rachel Green will be demonstrating a range of recipes to provide inspiration for teatime treats. For ‘mini chefs’ there will be popular children’s cookery sessions with Debbie Kenyon, who will teach simple and fun child friendly recipes.

Supported by Select Lincolnshire and Lincoln Colonia Rotary, this free event spread throughout the grounds of Lincoln Castle and spilling into Castle Square is the perfect opportunity to warm up with some tasty local food and drink so come along between 10am and 4pm.
